Why we built Pobl HR
Small businesses often reach a point where spreadsheets and shared folders are no longer enough, but the alternatives feel too large, too expensive or too difficult to introduce.
We built Pobl HR to sit in that gap: straightforward tools for the work small teams do every week, with room to add more structure as the business grows.
Pobl means people
The name is Welsh on purpose. We are based in Cardiff, some of our team speak Welsh, and the product is designed around the people in a small company rather than a specialist department or a long implementation project.

Pobl HR is not an enterprise platform. If you need global payroll, complex organisation charts or a dedicated HR operations team to run the system, it is probably not the right fit.
Clear about what the product does
Choose the modules that suit your business today and add more when you need them. Employees can be imported from a CSV, so getting started does not mean typing every record again.

People data deserves a careful approach
Employee records can include contact details, pay, leave, health and incident information. We have made deliberate choices about where that information is kept and how it is used.
No AI on employee data
Pobl HR has no AI functionality in the application. We do not send employee records to an AI system or use them to train one.

Plans are based on active employee count and cost £20, £40, £80 or £160 a month. Every plan includes a 30-day free trial, and inactive employees stay on record without counting towards billing.
